The creators specialize in fabric animals, which are made up of wire that is expertly shaped and covered with cloth material. They make their own glue, which they then use to glue the fabric onto the wire. All the raw materials they use are locally sourced.

All products are exclusively designed by Velie and she provides employment and income to crafts people from disadvantaged backgrounds to assist with her creations. Each product offered is carefully and individually hand-made from African oil cloth and Shwe-Shwe fabrics for comfort and style.

The creators of all the Leather Handbags are a 100% emerging business, manufacturing in Johannesburg and Cape Town. All handbags are exclusively designed by the manufacturer of the bags. They provide employment and income to crafts people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
